The Beautification Committee of Keep Opelika Beautiful reviews homes submitted for the Yard of the Quarter award. These volunteers select one home per City Ward each quarter. These winners are candidates for the Yard of the Year award. This award is presented by the Mayor at a City Council meeting.
The Clean Business award is presented to a business that keeps a clean parking lot, dumpster area and has flowers and manicured lawn.
Keep Opelika Beautiful also assists Opelika Councilpersons with beautification programs and neighborhood cleanups.
